Warehouse No. 1 fillings

available at the Distiller only,               from 2003 until May, 2014

A very popular part of an Aberlour Visitors Tour was visiting Warehouse No. 1

and handfill there "your own" bottle of a Single Cask Whisky.

You could choose of a ex Bourbon or ex Sherry Cask,

matured mostly for 14 to 15 years.

 

This ends im May 2014 and is followed by the "Hand filled at the Distillery" ,

which is done in the Victorian Room during the toor.

* Remark to different fillings from Cask 6342:

there is one pic of the label at whiskybase with 58.6 %

and another pic seen on ebay with 51.2 %

due to both labels are handwritten , who made the mistake ( by error ) ?

The maybe oldest impression as 23 year old of a WH No 1 filling from 1985 (2008)
